  • Emotional Intelligence – using Jung’s HumanMetrics to understand self; and, integrating new self-management behaviors to better engage others in process, projects, and agency duties


  • Management Functions – understanding workforce development and sustainability; writing with purpose and clarity using the agency decision brief as a training tool; and, speaking from knowledge base with confidence



  • Leadership and Decision-Making – understanding department plans and resourcing (human, fiscal, and supplies/facility and learning tactical tools to deploy operations with efficiency and effectiveness; and, relating decisions to organizational mission and vision


  • Team Building and Influence – developing a basic cultural competency understanding of self and relationship to leadership; building a team; managing conflict; and, inspiring others to achieve
